May 2026 - Presence, Community & First Public Footsteps
Written by Mike Nguyen
May marks the moment Luminous Preservation steps beyond the digital storefront and into the physical world. After months of planning, activation, and stabilization, this is where we begin showing up - at card shows, conservation events, and community spaces - to embody the mission we’ve been building since January.
This month is about presence, connection, and taking our first public steps as both a retail brand and a conservation‑aligned organization.
Projected Milestones
Card Shows & Collector Community
- Attend at least one local card show as a vendor or participant
- Prepare a curated table setup featuring singles, slabs, binders, and conservation materials
- Begin building relationships with local collectors, vendors, and event organizers
- Test in‑person sales rhythm, pricing flow, and customer engagement style
Conservation & Public Stewardship
- Participate in at least one conservation or wildlife‑related public event
- Introduce Luminous Preservation as a conservation‑aligned business
- Observe how local conservation groups operate and identify potential partners
- Begin outlining a plan for LP‑hosted conservation functions

Community & Brand Presence
